“Let all the earth fear the Lord, all who live in the world revere him. He spoke; and it came to be. He commanded; it sprang into being.” (Psalm 33)
Many Christians argue today for the theory of evolution because they believe that the scientific consensus is to be submitted to. They have no material evidence to demonstrate their claims. The origin of the world is beyond the reach of experimental science.
Many Christians, on the other hand, oppose evolution, not because they have material evidence to demonstrate their claims, but because they believe it undermines religion.
This is the ultimate question for Christians who embrace evolution: Does it promote the fear of the Lord, which is wisdom? Do you revere the Lord as creator and king of the universe?
If.not, then you’re not a “Christian evolutionist”. You’re just an evolutionist. And, remember: you have no actual scientific evidence for your position. You may pretend you do, but you don’t. You’re simply going along with the secular academic culture, which is pretending it rejects Christianity because of scientific evidence.
