I recently opened a new “Student Forum” on the CLAA Study Center. It is my intention to give a place to connect with other students, chat casually and — be children. I know that as they students begin chatting, their childishness will upset some parents, who will write to me demanding that this child be removed or this discussion be blocked. It always happens.
Realize, however, that this discussion forum is as safe and supervised as a discussion forum can be.
Yet, a hypocritical moral perfectionism will seek to criticize and destroy it, leaving the children with nothing.
Actually, the children will be left with only the forums that the secular world generously provides, where there will be no safety of supervision. The end will be worse, not better.
This is what’s most dangerous about hypocrisy.
