It is amazing to realize that if one is not voluntarily scrolling through social media posts, there is no controversy in the Catholic Church or in most of the world. Today, the sun is shining, birds are singing, clouds are moving slowly across the sky and I am sitting in a silent office without any distractions from my prayer and work. The fighting and gossip are all on social media where foolish people torment themselves for nothing. All of the trouble can be removed from life with a few clicks.
I was on social media because I believed that, owning an online business, I need to maintain a presence on these channels for the sake of advertising, etc. However, our actual statistics show that 96% of our website traffic comes from search engines and direct traffic to our website. Social media has almost zero influence on my business.
There is no positive reason to be there.
