Short-sightedness is the greatest danger to man. The gift of reason gives us the ability to think of the future, yet man lives like an irrational beast who can think of nothing but the present.
We spend so much time admiring the prosperity of the wicked, when the righteous are the only ones who will prosper iin the future. Those who admire riches are more foolish as those who possess them.
